She was a police officer
Maegan Hall, 26, was a police officer for the city of La Vergne, Tennessee. She was fired after her sex affairs with fellow police officers became public. She admitted having sexual relationships with six of her colleagues. She exchanged personal pictures and videos with them, and she even performed oral sex on them. Her sex affairs also included going on dates with men outside the force, and she even gave them presents for Christmas.
Her first sexual relationship was with her superior, Sergeant Lewis Powell. She told investigators that they had a “sexy fling.” They met at hotel rooms and other places, including a hot tub party on a houseboat. They also took photos together, and Hall was wearing a bikini top during one of the encounters.
The pair also had threesomes with other officers. They discussed having a threesome with Magliocco and his wife, but the conversation never materialized. She also claimed to have had sex with officers Ty McGowan and Seneca Shields.
In a federal lawsuit, Hall alleges that she was subjected to sexual grooming by her supervisors and the chief of police. She claims that she felt trapped in her male-dominated department and nearly committed suicide. The complaint names two supervising sergeants, the police chief, and the city of La Vergne. It also seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
She was married
After graduating from college, Maegan Hall wanted to become an actress. But she changed her mind and entered the police force to serve the citizens. In her first few years as a cop, she made some impressive achievements. But her reputation suffered a setback when she was involved in a sex scandal with her fellow officers.
The married officer, who was a part of the La Vergne Police Department in Tennessee, was accused of having affairs with six other officers on and off duty. She was fired from her job after she was accused of sexual harassment and conduct unbecoming of an officer. The incident came to light after a whistleblower informed the city’s mayor about the affair. La Vergne mayor Jason Cole launched an investigation and asked the police department’s human resources director Andrew Patton to look into the matter.
Patton found that Hall had sexual encounters with six police officers at boozy parties, hotels, and on city property. She was even accused of sharing nude photos with them. The rogue officer was eventually fired after an internal investigation by the police department.
Hall’s husband Jedidiah supports her despite the scandal. The couple has been dating since their college days and got hitched in November 2018. They currently live in Manchester, about 60 miles south of Nashville.
She was fired
The Tennessee police officer at the center of a department-wide sex scandal has lost her job. The La Vergne PD fired officer Maegan Hall after she was caught engaging in sexual misconduct with fellow officers. Her inappropriate behavior led to an internal investigation.
She allegedly exchanged nude photos and engaged in sexually exploitative relationships with other members of the department. Her lawsuit claims she was groomed to engage in these activities by her superiors, including police chief Burrel Davis.
According to her lawsuit, he wouldn’t take no for an answer and pressured her into inappropriate relationships. She was also subjected to sexist comments. The lawsuit says male officers discussed their sexual preferences and sex acts with her in front of others. It also alleges that Davis shared his highly-sexualized opinions of her with other officers.
Several of Hall’s co-workers were involved in the alleged inappropriate relationships with her, and she was a regular at department social events. She was even seen taking her bikini top off at a hot tub party, revealing her breasts.
Her sexual conduct with her co-workers, including Sergeant Lewis Powell, patrol officer Juan Lugo-Perez, Sgt Ty McGowan, and Detective Seneca Shields, eventually led to her termination. K-9 officer Larry Holladay and officers Patrick Magliocco and Gavin Schoeberl were placed on suspension in January.
She has filed a lawsuit
After gaining unwanted international fame as the police officer who slept with six fellow officers, Maegan Hall is suing her former supervisors in federal court. She claims that she was sexually harassed and exploited by her coworkers. She is seeking damages for lost wages, medical expenses, and emotional distress.
The lawsuit names the city of La Vergne, two supervising sergeants, and the former police chief. It alleges that the men colluded to disarm her resistance and entrap her in degrading and abusive sexual relationships. It also alleges that they shared tips on how to manipulate and exploit her.
In the lawsuit, Hall describes being a vulnerable young woman in a department full of much older men who objectified her and pushed her into inappropriate sexual relationships. She says that the men offered her favors in exchange for sex and threatened her career if she refused them. She says she eventually felt trapped and desperate, leading her to self-harm.
The lawsuit alleges that the police chief, Burrel “Chip” Davis, was aware of the misconduct and did nothing to report it or discipline the officers. The suit also accuses former Sergeants Henry McGowan and Lewis Powell of participating in the exploitation. They are both former La Vergne officers who were fired in February over the scandal. The suit also alleges that both men sent Hall nudes and other explicit messages.
